Of Days Gone by..
In the picture above you see one grand wall that actually joins two important monuments, Badshahi Mosque to its left and Lahore Fort to its right.
This city has been my home for about two years now,and with each passing day I find another reason to love it even more. There is the vibrancy of the street culture set against elegant dining establishments, the abundant markets or ‘baazaars’ and modern shopping malls, and for sure the passionate Lahoris.
“Splendid, absolutely positively splendid architecture!” is what I imagine what most people would think if given a sample of the historic buildings and ruins of Lahore. So, I will try to share pictures and stories to bring you closer to the history of the city with my fellow Metrobloggers.

Nice debut.I hope we get to see a better picture of the city courtesy your camera lens.
Welcome Mars. Good picture. The next time I go there I’ll definitely look out for the place. I’m also looking forward to see more pictures.
Thanks Jangli and M.Atif!
Well described, I miss my Lahore.
