…sunset near Khayaban-e-Iqbal…

Khayaban-e-Iqbal meets up with Walton Road, and leads you into the Defense Housing Authority turf of Lahore. Pictured above is a roundabout known as “Ghora Chowk” (ghora means horse in Urdu). I pass by here often ,and it never looks better then at dusk.

Here you can see the same roundabout in the foreground and the sun cozying up to the well-known Packages plant in the background.

Hundreds, possibly thousands of vehicles, bikes, and pedestrians travel here daily. I won’t say this is the most picturesque area of Lahore, but its certainly characteristic of the city.

Gorgeous. I have been waiting to take a picture of ghora chowk for the past two weeks, it looks so lovely when I pass by it on my way home every evening. But the car never stops and I just end up looking at it myself. :) Thanks for posting the picture.
