Generation Sales.

Who remembers Generation when it was that little box with a clouded black marble facade off the Liberty roundabout? There was a time when clothes on sale there would go at 200 rupees an ensemble- good old days of reasonable inflation ;) That price has quintupled now and the building moved to a gargantuan three-floor boutique with a vampy new advertising style years ago…and I can’t help but miss the little bread-box it once was, with the rickety cardboard-boxy changing rooms at the back and old stereo on the counter- those hulking boxy black ones with a flashing equalizer; green bars jumping up and down with the Vital Signs and Strings when they were eighteen, and five of them. Of course, snagging one of the rare really yummy outfits still left at the summer sale yesterday helped the cause ;)
