Misha – from the Karachi metblog – wrote an entry about the new twenty rupee notes. They look REALLY weird to me – as if they’re very old. My mother spotted one the other day, and all she had to say was – they’re this icky brown colour. What do you guys think?

Remember Ten Things I Hate About You? Remember the guy and the girl paintballing in that huge hay playing area in the middle of the movie? Well, Adeel Ansari – and you might know him as Jellyman from city fm 89 fame :D – is starting a new venture – the first ever Paintballing thingie in Pakistan – right here in Lahore! He’s still in the process of finalising and launching it, but you can see his orkut community for it -

Personally, am very excited about this…it sounds like a LOT of fun – of the waterpark-laser-tag type. (We still DON’T have a laser tag type place in Lahore!)

Around an hour before midnight last night (the 14th), worldcall cable mysteriously switched off star plus. It was gone for most of the day – causing my mother great distress at missing her afternoon soaps – and equally mysteriously reappared this evening.
Don’t know if it has something to do with 15th August and the airing of India’s celebrations on the channel…would hardly have thought that would’ve been “harmful” to watch. But I guess it can’t be mere coincidence. Any thoughts?
