Can you see anything?

Lahori’s drivers are famous for their andha dhund driving (rash driving). We are always in hurry and hence we always end up being late. Sabr (patience) is something not found in Lahori dictionary. I usually find myself stuck in traffic jam near New Muslim Town and Punjab University on my way back home from work, especially when signals are down. What should be a 15 minutes drive ends up in 1 hour just because people can’t wait for one minute.

And what about the headlights of cars, why we always need to have High Beam on? And those new laser lights or whatever it’s called. Yes Paa Ji, Aapki gaari ki roshni mein sarak par pari har cheez saaf nazar aati hai. But it’s just criminal because most of the times it’s almost impossible for others to see anything, totally blinding. I am surprised we still have relatively low rate of road accidents in Lahore.

Why do we need to have the high beam on? like always? *shakes head* I wish I knew, because its scary being out on the road on a rainy night with ‘laser beams’ (as you aptly called them )blinding the driver. Bright side is you can use the bumper-to-bumper traffic time to catch up on some reading…
