I’m not sure, but I saw such a thing in anarkali area.. it was packed between buildings and I never got the chance to see it properly.. the only reference I can give is – not very far from Yousuf Falooda shop in old anarkali.. :S

it can’t be qutubuddin aibak’s tomb cause it’s been rebuilt in yellow stone, or at least that’s what i’ve heard. I love old bricks…they used to be so sleek and classy, and well, they just looked better than the ungainly ones these days. The coming of the british has benefitted the region in many ways, but they should have left our pretty bricks alone.

yasir is close in guessing where.. it is a tomb but not qutububuddin’s .. keep guessing, it’s not that difficult :)

oh n i hate when they restore something by totally destroying the original happened in case of Kamran’s Baradarri and I heard Qutubuddin’s tomb no longer looks the way it was .. but once i saw a few windows of Shalimar Garden being restored and that was something.. one 5*5 window costs approx. 75k and they had to bring people from India who knew the particular mosaic

Okay, here’s the answer: tomb of a french general located on the back of the building which has ‘mirage banquet hall’ and has student hostels on top, in the old anarkali area.
I win! where’s my washing machine?

elektra tv is fine, but I really need a toaster.. I’m burning my toasts every morning :(

PS: pay me due credit as I had seen the place myself and my guess was not at all incidental. plus, I went to actually see the place myself again to confirm yesterday. :D
