Lost!!!!!
I Was just wondering that to my knowledge lahore seems to have mainly hafeez centre as the hub for electronics specially mobiles , computers and laptops…..However the prices there are sky high . anyone aware of some good place for laptops….
I Really do wish we could have more coffee houses , more book shops ( seems like no one reads any more …. The sunday bazaars at karachi and islamabad beat us cold here they have great bargains….the last time I went to the karachi itwar bazaar I counted no less then 21 yep thats right 21 book shops) and more places to hang out ….
the karachi itwar bazars rock.
i love the fact that you can walk around with a straw bag and find nearly anything you can think of from masalas to books to tshirts (except laptops ofcourse:) they are pretty neat and the fact that women can stroll around and shop without fears of getting groped is just absolutely fab.
in lahore the only book stall bazar i know of is the one on sunday in anarkali. its quite a big bazar with lots of secondhand books and begins on the mall road.
does anyone have any updates on the 55 storey towers, shiek zayed center on 91 kanals on ferozpur road, they said construction was to begin in may, but its now end of september and still no construction.
and also what is update on imax center on mm alam road, really looking forward to that.
and last one, what is the update on the project to be made at flatiss hotel site, plot was sold long time ago but still no new project there.
these all new places will change the shopping face of lahore, lets pray they come quick.
if your’e looking for a genuine branded laptop, go to the dealer directly instead of looking around in hafeez center.
There IS another electrnoics hub…even bigger than hafeez center. Its called Hall Road. But I would severely advise against making a trip there. They are the kings of ripping you off selling you totally fake stuff for exorbitant amounts of money.
