subway – getting fresh?
I was food-hunting through defence today at 1 am. All the Mcdonalds had closed (one of my karachiite friends has this theory that there’re WAY too many Mcdonalds in Lahore, but we’ve talked about that already :)). I found the subway at y-block open, grinned really wide and slunk in, half-expecting the guard to tell me that it’s closed. It wasn’t, but the glee at getting decent food at 1 am in Lahore was killed by the subway guy blatantly trying to hit on me – he tried making small conversation, when in all the years that I’ve been going to subway, the servers have NEVER tried making small talk with me. Asked me about what the keys that I was carrying were for, where my car was, whether it was bad for your health to have onions at ‘this hour’! :s Really, subway people, behave – i actually used to really like you!
I’ve been to Subway for a few times and I didn’t like its calorie-free sandwiches…
Did you know Subway is known for cold sandwiches all over the world?
Moral: Be pepared to stand the small talk with subway staff if you go there at late hours.
what pickup line did he use?
“wanna ride the subway with me?!!!!”
hahahhahahahahahahhahaaaaaa
point the guy out to me…this might be a little fun…
Subway isn’t that bad; it’s gonna take a white to catch on in Lahore but I think it will be sucessful. The one in Peshawar didn’t do so well; infact I think it closed. It would be better suited in Islamabad I think.
making small conversation != hitting on a person
haroon – being harrased by unneccesary questions at 1 am and refusing to get the hint that the person is NOT interested in talking != making harmless small conversation either.
It’s harassment yes, but not hitting.
ohkay, is the line ‘did you come here alone?’ harassment or hitting or both? with all due respect, you weren’t there. :)
I would consider that as harassment but not hitting. Hitting would be like ‘you have beautiful eyes’.
So what was the end result? Did you report the guy?
hitting doesn’t always have to be either blatant or very adequate.
no, i was in a hurry to get out of the place and to be on my way back home.
… What exactly is going on here?!?
