Every Dick, Tom and Harry. . .

Every Dick, Tom and Harry. . .
These days every Dick, Tom and Harry is seeking donation for the quake struck areas

and people are giving them quite a substantial amouunt

its our duty I guess to check the authenticity of the organisation which we are trusting with our money

And we should keep on checking where they are utilizing our money

For humanitys sake, be skeptical …

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Makes donating more difficult though.

Only donate to reputable relief organizations. Please spread the word.

You should donate to Eidhi, President’s Relief Fund, MKRF (Though i’m not completely with them but still), Insaar Burney. There is a huge list of authentic relief organizations. I guess there’s no fuss in deciding which one you should go for. Start with Eidhi~ But don’t delay! Please. Time is short.

    Thanks

BTW: Exciton – I’m happy to see you here on Lahore MetBlog. People who don’t know him: He is a senior writer on different reputable online forums and online chowks since 1999 (and even before may be).

Why did the earthquake happen in Muzzafarabad?
Is it because it is the hub for terrorism?

    Think.Think.Think

Yes,frankly speaking they deserved what they got.

Allah has strage ways of proving things.
    No violence please.

Correct me if I am wrong but that last comment seems to be made by an Indian.

here in the UK, you should contribute to charites that are registered with the charities commission or the UK wide DEC organisation ..

like someone else said Edhi is the best.. personally I donated to Islamic Relief…

With reference to the afore-listed remarks by ISLAM, I am so appreciative that this person took the time and made a genuine effort to reveal true nature of our “friendly neighbors”. However, at this time prudence dictates that we avoid dignifying such talk with a response. Insha Allah, we shall remember and come back to it at a more opportune time.

This is not the time for this. The only thing we need now is positivity, in whatever form. In our thoughts, actions, and words. We do not need anymore negative energy.
