I wish they had decided it earlier. I still remember the cane blows on our litter fingers at school. ouch!

    hai, i got punished once in fourth grade for not doing my homework. The teacher asked me to go and stand outside the classroom for 10 minutes. So I did. A minute later I see her coming out of the classroom. “Don’t stand in the sun. Stand here in the shade.” Five minutes later I was asked to come back in. Sigh. Those were the days.

    Of course we were exceptionally well behaved kids. But sometimes you just want to skin those little b@$%@&#$ alive…

    On a more serious note, several children suffer permanent physical injuries and emotional scars from physical punishment. Someone I know developed a hole in his eardrum when a teacher slapped him on the side of his head.
