the karafilm schedule, and day 2

It’s day 2 of the karafilm festival in lahore…and you can see the schedule of the lahore tour here:

I went to see the Iranian film Gilaneh last night, which won the Best Feature Film award this year. It was quite, quite good…but more or less your typical Iranian movie. Full of strong women and adverse circumstances. Very unsurprising appeals to all the right emotions in all the right places. Tragic most.
I’m looking forward to Kebab Connection and Mein Ne Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara more though.

    halat kharab hain
    yeah kahani hai karachi kay halat ki jab hur insan aik khauf main zindagi guzar raha tha woh nahi janta tha kay ghar say nikla woh shaks ghar pohchay ga kay nahi.
