naqli augmentin? arghh..
A week or so back I had my teeth done from our family dentist in Islamabad and he advised me to finish up at least two bottles of an antibiotic, what they call Augmentin. 625 mg, 6 tablets. Now matter what you do, this shitty tablet keeps your throat bitter for the 24 hours, without an exception. I’d been keeping my promise with the dentist, only because I was afraid to get my teeth done again. Did I tell you that’s only until yesterday, when a friend of mine here in Lahore – who works in a Pharmaceutical company – told me that there’s a whole lot of this augmentin in the market which is totally naqli! Now, that certainly was a shock; though, I knew there are naqli dawaiyaan available in the market but having told that “don’t eat it fool, no matter where you buy this tablet from, there’s a high probability that it’s not geniune”. And I thought only small medical stores have such fake medicine (I don’t know if it’s the right word). And the tablet belongs to a well-known company GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Ltd. Shocking!
How to differentiate b/w the original & the fake ones?
There is something coming to your way ;).

Fazal Din and Sons is probably the only place in Pakistan where you are guaranteed to get asli dawayaan
