Royal Paanwala(?) at Old Anarkali!

I’m stealing this off Insiya’s blog, with no proper permission of hers, off course. By the way, I lived in the area for a while but never seen him. Where’s this shop?

    i’ve seen this guy at numaish a few times, he’s cool but freaky…he puts a pan directly into the mouth of his male customers :s

    i haven’t seen him at food street in a while.. but i remember seeing him last during SAMF at LUMS last year .. n he actually put a king size paan into my mouth.. almost kiled me ;)

    hahaha! Btw, I have almost forgotten about that blog! This was near the food street – there’s a cafe called Crow Eaters inspired by Bapsi Sidhwa’s novel. He’s right across it! :)

    ah paan…i remember last july when i was in lahore for a month….and i called up my family back in karachi…complainin that i havent had a decent pan in days…and my cousin told me to go to the food street and have a pan from karachi pan shop….i did but in the mornin and the pan was a stale leftover from the night before stock…..lahore and pan dont go together…the whole one month was painfully
