Pakistan Day – 23rd March

Happy Pakistan Day everyone. I wish we learn to appreciate more what this country has given us. It was on 23rd March, 1940 in Lahore when All India Muslim League passed Lahore Resolution in which the need for a separate homeland for the Muslims of India was originally recognised (later given the name Pakistan Resolution).

Minar-e-Pakistan now stands at the place where Muslim delegations from all over India gathered and passed this historic resolution.

It’s been a long time since I did this in public so here goes (and you are more than welcome to join me in Tariq Aziz style) : Pakistan Zindabad :)
