    Lahore has become and advertising and media whore !! All the beauty has been subdued by these massive billboards which are totally fucked !

    Yes, you are right. All this should be governed by some authority as to where you can put up these billboards, how big they should be and how many.

    There should also be approved for aesthetic quality so one won’t have billboards with a girl sipping juice from a beer glass which actually turns out to be an ad for lice shampoo !!

    Most importantly they should not obstruct the natural scenery (trees, architecture etc.) which represent the culture of Lahore.

    I agree .. currently its all fucked !!

    Karachi had the same disgusting problem till a couple of months ago, until the new nazim stepped up to remove all unauthorized billboards from the entire city. As things go, around 80%-90% of these billboards are unauthorized and no revenue goes to the government. Lahore CDG should follow the same example.
