I was joking. It does look like a student area or a park. Notice the hijabis.
Question though, why again do we paint the bottoms of trees? Ive never seen this done anywhere but in PK.

Maybe Punjab University?? As for the trees, painting them like this acts as insect repellant for the insects that destroy wood and it also helps to preserve the bark during sudden temperature changes. They are not just in Pakistan….many European countries do it and also in some areas in North America.

this is known as “peepal avenue”
it leads from the old building to the principal’s residence
to the left is the old cricket ground which imran khan described as one of the most beautiful grounds he ever played on
to the right are the barries or the hockey fields
and the building in the picture is barry block which is the senior academic block
peepal avenue is one of the most beautiful roads to walk down any time of the day
