yup sadaf, you are so right. i ve been to gawalmandi food street but not to anarkali that’s why i asked if there is any special place in anarkali food street which we should try? oh n i luv regal ki fruit chaat :D

its purani anarkali you are talking about, purani anarkali has the yousaf falooda and various halwa puri and samoosa shops.
ok ok now i recall its the lane leading from purani anarkali to the the lower mall upto the tollington market just in front of the packed road leading to anarakali bano bazar.
there is also a miniature food street in the green belt at the edge called ‘nukkad 38′
i am sorry but i never ate there so can’t comment on the quality of food except the halwa puri + samoosa and ever famous yousaf falooda.
i hope seema will write a short response to put our speculations on her fav ifftar at rest.

Yes, Anarkali has its own food street and it’s lush in variety for eateries including Yusuf Falooda, Biryani, Tikka, Fried Fish, and other desi stuff…

what are you talking about hasan, anarakali and gawalmandi food street are miles apart. Or is it the small so called food street in front of anarkali that u have pointed at. The place where there used to be a landa bazaar two years ago. But you see hasan, seema do’nt live in lahore any more and its not likely that she has visited food street either in gawalmandi or anarkali. The likelyhood for fruit chat shops in anarakli or the backery next to cone wala are most probable places of her ifftar venue in anarkali.
Plz tell us seema if i am right?
and i think seema is an ex student of KE, GC or PU because noobody else would think of anarkali as a place for ifftar unless u are a shopohlic.
