World Performing Arts Festival 2006
Ladies & Gentlemen get ready for the ‘World Performing Arts Festival 2006’ which is starting from November 10 here in Lahore. The preparations for the biggest performing arts festival in Asia of Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop are in the final stages at Alhamra Cultural Complex, Gaddafi Stadium. I am really looking forward for this year’s festival which is expected to attract record number of artists, performers and guests from all around the world.
The organisers of the Festival have added up many attractions this year which include the brand new sitting arrangements. New performances from international artistes and super stars from the neighbouring countries like India, Far East, Central Asian States, UK and USA. By all means, Faizan Peerzada claims, this is going to be the biggest and most memorable festival.
Our best wishes for World Performing Arts Festival 2006 team :).
World Performing Arts Festival is one thing that I really look forward to each year. Can’t wait for this year’s festivities to get started! :)
How i wish to be there,
last festival i attended was with my class fellows in 2002 or 3 and we watched the play by rafi peer group in which a princess clad in white would come up with an admirable shaking of her head.
i have forgotten the play and its theme but still remember the shakings of head. Whenevr i see some japanese constatly shaking his head in their traditional incessant style it reminds me of rafi peer ki puttli
yah ,Faizan peerzada is very happy this time because the chief minister is giving him money to finance the festival.
2006, ahem!
