Road Squad in Action, BEWARE!
Spread like new-born chickens all over the hatchery, the latest addition to the provincial capital’s roads is a whole new cadre of young Police Wardens. Government of the Punjab has its plans of replacing the current Traffic Police personnel with this new squad very soon. Read more here.

While most of these 2,800 thin tall men with black glasses and white dust masks, seem to have just completed college, they have been performing their duty with full devotion and active enforcement of traffic rules in the scorching summer heat.
With their introduction, we have the first Pakistani Sikh Sub-Inspector and Pakistan’s first female Traffic Police force.
So, for the next time you even think about violating any traffic rules, beware of the Road Squad in Action, for you may end up spending 72 hours in jail with an additional fine of Rs.500….
