“Binn Battoorri.. Naasaan Chorri..!”

“Madina Heights” is holding a Musical Bhangra Night Show in front of it’s under construction tower at Shaukat Ali Road to publicize its tower.

A local musical group, named Jutt Brothers, is called to perform on the stage in front of the general public in a free and open air environment and are scheduled to perform on 4th, 5th n 6th of May here at the venue..

The chief guest was Syed Raza Gillani, who is the Provincial Housing Minister of Punjab.

The performance was based on many different themes like Drama Performance, Dance, Comedy, and Magical Show etc…

The drama performance was extracted form the years old “Ainak Waala Jinn”, which was the most popular drama for children and used to be aired on PTV; and I myself was a great fan of it [still remember my childhood :)].

I still remember those funny dialogues like; (read the dialogues in punjabi)

Ooloo ooloo hello..
Ooloo ooloo hello..
assi 420 (chaar so vee)..
tussi 420 (chaar so vee)..
assi tussi 420 (chaar so vee)..

.. by Hamoon Jadugar.

And one more form the same character;

Binn Battorri..
naasaan chorri..
adhi mithee..
adhi korri..
i m sorry..
i m sorry..

n the most popular dialogue of Zakoota jinn and my favourite as well.. (I frequently used to say it when I’s child) :D

mjhe kaam btao..
mein kya karoon..
mein kiss ko khaaoon..?

Well about the event, there was a rush of audience and the traffic was almost jammed until the guard and a policeman came forward to make the vehicles move that stood in the middle of road to see the performance.

The artists were really successful in attaining the audiences’ attention and made it a really successful show.

But there is another side of the picture…
Actually I observed that most of the audience was from the nearby huts, workshops, petrol pumps and other working places. A matter of fact is that none of them was able to buy a multi million shops or apartments in Madina Heights.

I was unable to meet any of the officials of Madina Heights otherwise; I would have asked the question that “what’s the basic purpose of this show?” If it is for advertising than to whom they are advertising there plaza?

But whatever the purpose is, the show is still there tonight at 08:00pm. If you want to reminisce your old memories of Hamoon Jaadugar, Zakoota Jinn, Binn Battoorri etc… You must visit the closing ceremony today.

By the way, do you have some memories with Ainak Waala Jinn? If yes.. share it with others! ;-)
