New Presidential Ordinance has been enforced from this very moment giving PEMRA powers to suspend license of any channel violating the rules. Suspension for how much duration will be decided by PEMRA authorities. Besides this, PEMRA would have the right to seal down the building & stop the transmition by force. These rules would be applicable on TV, Mobile TV & Internet too. This is a building story – don’t have any access to TV to verify this… if any one can ?
