Maulana Auntie gets busted
In today’s most important development this evening, the Khateeb (leader) of Lal Masjid, Islamabad, elder brother of Maulana Abdul Rashid Ghazi and commander of the so-called Lal Masjid Brigade, Maulana Abdul Aziz has been arrested while trying to escape shamefully disguised as a lady in ‘burqa’ (veil).
He came out of the masjid with a group of several girls wearing a burqa, a dress that now unfortunately has become a signature outfit of the Hafsa Girls. When female officers of Islamabad Traffic Police tried to search this ‘lady’, his accompanying girls surrounded him saying that it was their auntie and as she was not feeling well, she should be exempted from body search.
On suspicion, security personnel were summoned and finally, Maulana Auntie’s face was revealed and was seized by the Rangers after minor resistance. He was immediately arrested and taken away in a Police vehicle to an unknown location.
‘Maulana Auntie’ faces charges of murder, kidnapping, possesion of illegal weapons and terrorism.
It’s funny to see such a hypocrite, someone who had been ranting against the writ of law and claiming to lay his life rather surrender in front of the Government, doing such a low and shameful attempt to escape while leaving behind hundreds of mis-guided girls and boys who have been blindly following him.
What a Shame!
The situation is expected to become less tense after Maulana Auntie’s arrest. While more than 1,200 girls and boys have come out and surrendered, there still is considerable human presence in the seminary. Maulana Abdul Rasheed is still believed to be in Lal Masjid along with radicals who, many think, may be more aggressive and are in possesion of deadly weapons.
Let’s see how it turns out as the end of drama seems to be near…
:D
Hasan, we share the story here :-)
Who is worse?
