Chaman at Maulana Shaukat Ali Road..

If you are a Lahori, you know about the Chaman Ice-Cream at the Mall Road, Lahore.

But, for the readers who don’t know about it let me tell you that ‘Chaman Ice-Cream’ is the most famous ice-cream parlor in Lahore. Whoever visits Lahore; definitely pays a visit to it and it’s a place where (especially at night) you don’t find space to place your foot. If you get your ice-cream early, you are considered lucky enough.

But, here is a good news for those, who live in Lahore and wanted to have the same taste near their area. Now they have a new branch of the ‘Chaman Ice-Cream Parlor‘ at Moulana Shaukat Ali road, C-Block, Faisal Town, Lahore.

The new branch is up for quite a few days and is running successfully. Or, I must say that it’s a big hit for the owners because the same rush is found here; and at night, don’t even think of it. (I had a very bad experience with my friends)

The only thing which turned me down was their furnishing and interior decoration. It’s quite dull and needs a lot improvement (in my opinion).

Do pay a visit to satisfy those taste buds of yours, right in your neighborhood. ;-)

this is surly the most over rated ice cream parlour in the world.

and i dnt see what people see at chaman, except there cheap prices, there parlours are dirty and have degraded furniture with no air conditioning and there ice cream is plain average with bad hygine conditions

if you want quality ice cream go to marble stones and hotspot aint bad either.
    chaman is junk

Chaman is most commonly named as ‘Sheeray Wali Ice cream’. Its sweeter than an ice cream should be. Plus, other than being cheap, they have special dry fruits in them which are fresh, which attract many masses. Also, not everyone can go to hotspot, marble stones or gelato affairs.

Secondly, try their special icecream.. in which they put in freshly cut fruits and do the topping with imported syrups. It ain’t bad too. The special icecream is also usually not that sweet as the normal ones.

They sell such icecream because people who come there, demand it that way.

I have just been to chaman not more than 10 times since last 15 years and have been more to gelato affairs instead. But kabhi kabhi dil karta bhi hai Aisi Ace-Cream ka bhi :)

We tried it, Mall wali, only once almost three years back. It was too greasy to swallow :/

Four cup-fulls were trashed without finishing…
