Emergency Emerging or Not?- News and Views Part 1

In continuation to the previous post, here are a few updates:
Is all of this related with an expected change of alliances between nations? After the hullabaloo in the National Assembly over taking a hike regarding allying with America on the war against terror, alliance with Russia was suggested and fought over. Is the risk worth taking? What and how could the Soviets protect us against the Super power when they could do less to save themselves?
The local television networks are heated up and constantly gurgling information without a frame change.
News Strip- Islamabad: President Pervez Musharraf signed the orders to declare emergency in the country, announcements expected shortly
Attorney General (Alittle above the News Strip): I haven’t heard anything of an emergency being declared
Law Minister Wasi Zafar: (when asked about the signing of orders) Completely wrong info! No one has signed any orders (in the same sentence) I belong to the law division I have nothing to do with that (later in the same sentence he ends up quoting legislative sections related to emergency declaration)
Benazir Bhutto: (Views) Against the declaration of emergency, do not wish for it to take place as PPP has declared to be against the concept of emergency being declared. This might lead to a further crisis situation in the political circle. Some mal-intending groups of people against the presidential election are trying for emergency to be declared so as to avoid return of democracy.
May Allah have mercy on us all!!
Rest follows later…

First of all there are no Soviets around. And secondly who makes anyone think that Russians are ready to help us in our stance of supporting Taliban? The one who thinks Russia will support us in harbouring Jihadi Taliban and/or Alqaeda peobably lives in some planet in Andromeda. Russians were hit greatest by the Taliban in post 9/11 era. Russia, China , Nato, Arabs, India and many other Asian countries have stakes in the case of Taliban and Alqaeda as they have been targets in one way or other. The only country I can think of supporting Pakistan in our Jihadi ventures is Sudan. Are we going to the era of Nawaz Sharif’s last govt.?
What non-serious clowns we have in National Assembly who can not even sit down and think even when it comes to National security.
