Pakistan in T20 semi-finals

In a super-charged, most eagerly awaited Twenty20 Super Eight match, Pakistan has finally defeated the world champions, Australia, to secure a place in the championship semi-finals.

After winning the toss, Pakistan invited Australia to bat first who put up a total score of 164 for 7 wickets in the given overs. Although, Pakistan were slow on chase and were in danger after they lost 4 wickets under 50 runs, however, the winning partnership of Shoaib Malik and Misbah-ul-Haq easily sailed through Australia’s bowling storm and scored 165 in 19.1 overs. Both of them completed half centuries, Shoaib Malik at 52 and Misbah-ul-Haq at 66, with the later hitting the longest six of the match at 111 metres.

Looks like a new coach, and a brand new cricketing format was the only things Pakistan needed to make a smashing comback with a dhamaka! :)
