Got ICE in your mobile?

A campaign is underway to encourage people save acronym “ICE” for “in case of emergency” in the address/phone book of their mobile phone followed by the name and the contact number of their family doctor or any relative who can be imformed in case of any emergency. This will help the rescue services to take a quick action by contacting the suggested person. Almost everyone carries a mobile phone now and with ICE stored in their phonebook memory rescue services would know immediately who to contact, which number to dial and know their medical history, if needed.

Now they’ve issued cards under the same concept. ICE for you…

And if you’re allergic to any particular medicine, may it be syrups, tablets, veges, fruits or just about anything, don’t forget to wear an engraved Medical/Emergency Bracelet” carrying the useful imformation about the allergies, blood group and a contact number along with the name. Guys feel free to wear it, you have an excuse now ;)

So let’s make this huge. Make sure everyone around you knows about it, and most importantly saves one too. It may help save some precious lives.
