Kiss ka hai ye Rikshaw? Kahaan se aaya hai ye Rikshaw? aur Kyun hai ye Rikshaw?.

You people seem quite obsesed with electric wires, clouds, roads and rikshaws.Don’t you have some real issues to write about concerning this city.Don’t just fillup the posts half heartedly.Put some soul into it.
I’m waiting for the day when Lahore improves its public transport system by building better metro or circular railway and bringing in more Big buses to reduce traffic congestion.Otherwise there will be another Karachi in the making. The traffic jams have already started to worsen despite the increase in traffic police.

Right now i’m working on a model of Startrek beaming like device to solve future traffic problems.Project is half completed.I’ve devised the mechanism to smoke the subject(read person).Real problem is re-assembling at the destination.Hoping that it’ll be solved by year 2080 :-).
    Chao

Wow, this one actually has doors…the ones that can actually keep you inside.

Seriously, I think they should keep the old rickshaws too for cultural reasons, possibly in specially dedicated “heritage zones” like old city and may be around railway station area. They could still be attractive for tourists.

Thanks for sharing. I always make it a point to ride a rickshaw whenever i visit. Love em. And tongas too. But tongas are not easy to find these days. Sad really.
