Eid Mubarak – The Desi Way (laala)

Why forget Laala.. :-D

khushi ka din phir he aaya,

Laala phir ik daffa naha ke aaya,

ooper se cugoo ghorra karaaye pr laaya,

or phir chillaya..

eid aaya, eid aaya,eid aaya..

It’s only the outer side of the card.

These were the cards which are quite funny accordin to the content but on the same side are a decent way to make fun of someone.

Overall, they are worth their price viz Rs. 30/card. I myself bought four cards. ;-)

    I guess the rest are busy with Eid to blog na? I heard there are 3 days Public holiday for Eid?

    It’s only 1 day here in Singapore, so its back to work on Mon. Luckily, Eid fell on Sat this yr for us, and we get to go visiting on Sun too..

    Please, i wanna see how u celebrate Eid… do u go visiting too? i cant get a clear pic from my husband cos all he do on Eid is sleep all day and do concerts at night on Eid.

    Yeah, busy days :)

    We have three days off, officially. We celebrate by visiting our relatives and friends and vice versa. The other way to celebrate is to hang out, and take your families to parks, dine out etc.

    Mon and Teu off…

    Btw, i appreciate the way you shared the cards and it reminded me of the old times, when i used to make cards (paint etc.) and post them to relatives. E-cards are a blessing but made us lazy and lack the warmth.
