More on protests at LUMS…

LUMS_Protest_1.jpgThe military dictator and his goons have certainly lost their marbles! The students of LUMS had announced to hold a peaceful protest at Lalik Jan Chowk (DHA) but before anything could even materialize, the police had started threatening and bullying them and even met the Vice Chancellor of LUMS to force them to call it off. And as I’ve said before, our history is replete with traitors – someone had leaked the identities of those involved in planning the rally. For security concerns, the plan had to be changed and now a massive protest rally is planned inside the LUMS premises (Date: 7th Nov 2007 / Time: 1300 hrs) as reported earlier by Hasan. Anyone and everyone is invited… your participation will not be in vain, the protest that took place on Monday was even reported on CNN (video embed at the end of post).
Similar rallies are planned to take place at FAST-NU and other universities. We’ll keep you updated as more details come in.

    AOA all

Its very nice to see this kind of spirit particularly from LUMS.The other institution should also come forward and join hands with those people like great Chief Justice and other respectable judges who refused to take oath under PCO.I also appreciate the private tv channels for their commitment for broadcasting ground realities in front of Pk nation.

    Long live pakistan
    regards

It’s quite right that Its Decision about implied Emergency is wrong.President Musharaf thinks “Presidency in the Pakistan is just like as Play with Toys” but he don’t has idea about the People of Pakistan that “We are a Part of Pakistan”. So, I appreciate the sensation of the LUMS Student as well of Other Universities Students.

    GOD HELPS U GUYS.:)

AoA.Well its obviously tremendous and stunning that there came such a respose from public espacially from YOUTH.of course we should be aware of what’s happening in our Country. No doubt about that there is odd time on our Motherland. Also it should be kept in mind that when such incidents occur there are some factors and Extermist who also activate and try to get benefit of the circumstances which results in destruction of Integrity of Country as it had been for long time followed by one after another. So care should also be taken not to violate but only to convey the message to the culprits and DICTATORS……Best Regards (Aslam)

yeh its really a very very appreciating step taken by the youth . i think as a true muslim and being a pakistani every one should have the responsibility to take care of their nation.its not fair dat army takes over the country. there should not be even musharif, nawaz and benazir to be the president or prime minister of pakistan . we want only a sincere leader.
