Caanchi & Lugari

Picture%2813%29_filtered_canchi.jpg
Caanchi & Lugari is new on MM Alam Road, they surfaced at the beginning of Ramadan. It’s a retail store, offering grand and enchantingly fabulous display of accessories of some internationally acclaimed designers, price range is #%$#^.

*Interestingly, these Italianish names are Totally local, yup, they are nick names of the owners, that is the least that the confused manager could muttered about it, so don’t get confused with Lugari & Lughari, like I got.

Thanks for explaning the origin of these names. I thought they were trying to rip off european names, caanchi= gucci and lugari= bulgari, but it seems I was wrong about it.

Ok, this hasnt got anything to do with this post directly…

But, is it true then that life is as normal in Lahore? My parents n aunty are dead worried about going to Pak this Dec. Hubby has confirmed again n again w his family back there that everything’s safe to the citizens… the ones affected are only the erm… political pple..

And i sooo wanna go to Murree… but is it still safe to go? Hubby said bcos its in Islamabad, it might be safer to give it a miss? Besides, he said, Lahore has plenty of things to see also.

@Jus: Lahore is super cool, people are lovely and protests are peacful. INshallah, u ll have safe visit here and even in Murree. Othewise, u can have horse ride here in Lahore ;)

@rukun: Pack negativity in a box and throw it away, then, maybe, u ll find other good things about Pakistan.
