It is yet another punch at the freedom of Pakistani people. I had wondered how long it will take the government before it would use its influence on Dubai government and my hope was Dubai authorities could resist Pakistani military government’s oppressive reach but obviously that wishful thinking. Look at the Arab world, — unfortuantly we have looked too much to the Arab world for our identity–how can we expect them to stand up for democracy, freedom of expression or independence of judiciary. They are happy to sell commodities and entertainment but are quick to censor ideas.
