So wrap yourself properly, protect yourself and your loved ones from becoming a victim of the record breaking cold-wind this season.

The Met office has forecast dry and cold weather for the next 24 hours in the city whereas experts also say that the weather will become colder in the coming days.
Besides, the sale of winter clothes is also noticeable in markets in posh localities. Liberty Market and other trade centers, situated on the MM Alam Road and the Main Boulevard, are also witnessing an increase in customers for winter clothes.

“Imagine you are driving on the College Road in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and stop on an intersection, as the traffic light turns red. You stop and anxiously wait for it to change to green.
Suddenly you notice a man wearing jeans and a jacket smartly dances through cars and arrests your attention. The traffic light changes to green after a delay of 49 seconds, but you are so captivated that you push your self to move on your vehicle.
Imran who dances on a DHA intersection after 9pm says he wants to be a choreographer and create dance movements for Punjabi movies.“ – DT

Kream Og Koffee (sorry if I am spelling/naming it wrong, because maybe I never liked the place/maybe its dementia) is no more there at Hussain Chawk now. FRILZ replaced that coffee shop with its magic of threads offering very brilliant unstitched, computerized machine-embroidered clothes. The display is superb, the stuff is outstanding if compared with Motifz (MM Alam Road). Designs are really really eye-catching mainly on chiffon and georgette with irresistible color schemes. I must say the designer has got incredible aesthetic sense.

9th Dec, one day before opening

10th Dec, the opening day
Since I was short of time on 10th, I made it there on 11th. Prices vary from design to design…but to give you guys a general idea range is from 1500 Rs (only) up to 3000 Rs (only) PER YARD (…gross na!!?) , matlab Too Much bhiiiiiiiiiii. They also got embroidered laces a couple of hundreds per yard, but don’t forget exclusivity is expensive.
Frilz is definitely a perfect addition in that area magnifying the shine of MM Alam :).

December 2007 is the month marked by Eid-ul-Azha, Christmas, New Year and specially wedding season in Lahore, so party season is ON :) ….Lahore is sparkling, all are out flocking in to markets to get the best items. I would suggest that more and more tourist come to Lahore during this season, and i am sure they would fall in love with this city like us.
Hopefully, this end of year 2007 will bring us more peace and harmony in our lives along with the new year.

Winter actually means Siri Paye and Nihari, at least for a true Lahoree :) . I found Mohammadi Nihari the best, it is simply great, even it beats Phajjay Day Paye. In Defence, they got a decent place for families downstairs and just think about quickly served garam garam naaan and Nihari….waaaaaaah kia baat hay :))
