Its good that the people experienced their rule, realized their folly of voting for them in a wave of anti-American sentiment, but now they know better. Another big positive viz a viz women empowerment in this election has been that a substantial number of women were given tickets by all the main political parties and quite a few manged to defeat their male opponents. Bravo! Way to go Ladies! Now that the Mullah are out, sanity will prevail in NWFP, and women will get a chance to breath again.
