not really, it wasnt such a big deal a few years ago but now the companies have just started promoting it too much to sell the products and all, same as in every other scenario consumerism is increasing like crazy. take valenines if uve seen it here in lahore its crazy now, 5 years ago hardly anyone knew what it was all about.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there. :D

I had no idea Mother’s Day was a big deal in Lahore, as I see lots of companies promoting Mother’s Day. Has it always been this way? Has Mother’s Day always been this commercialized in Lahore? Just wondering.

@ Cyrenity: Gee thanks :) and about the title, it’s there where it should be :p oh well, if not dinner you can send her some lovely flowers, a pack of chocolates, her favorite perfume or simply a greeting card would do the trick. Above all just give her a call some time and try to put a smile on that oh-so-adorable face, good luck! :)
