Lufthansa to resume service from Lahore

 Add to that a couple of more airlines including Virgin Atlantic who are in process of starting up their operations to and from Lahore.

 Now more choices to travel to Pakistan’s cultural capital.

    @ Hasan: Lufthansa started its operations from Lahore for the first time in its history in October 2007, they have never suspended their operations from Lahore, they have suspended their operations from Karachi due to security risks but not from Lahore, I have personal contacts in Lufthansa and I am afraid that this news clipping from one of the leading newspapers is false.

    I don’t uderstand, why the hell is Karachi penalized so heavily all the time in the name of security? If these airlines can fly to African countries then why no KHI? I remember that in 1994 an Air France plane was hijacked in Algeria but the airline still flies overthere. With an excetion to Pan Am flight 57 hijacking in 1986, KHI has not seen one single hijacking case.
