PML-N's stab into the back of judicial movement is unforgiveable. I hope Nwaz sharif faces a humiliating defeat from Lahore where he proudly said during long march "mein isi haqay se election lar raha hon, balkay mein kiya lar raha hon aap hi lar rahay hain mujhay to pata bhi nahin hay kay meri election campaign chal rahi hay"

PML-N has suppported finance bill in parliament and number of judges has been raised from 16 to 29. congratulations to the people pakistan, silly activists and mukhlis awam, these leaders are apt at toppi darama aur iss dafa nawaz sharif sab ko toppi pehna gaya hay.

As for the break in suicide bombing cant you see all the religous fundamentalists including Hameed Gul, Jamaat and PTI are putting their weight behind Nawaz and holding back the suicidals, they have acieved their objective of discrditing and weakening Mush and now its time to push Nawaz into power.

But if the things dont go as they plan all hell will be let loose. I see very tough times ahead for this country. Sadly, my country men have brought this onto themseleves.

Here is how Cowasjee sums up this exercise in futility:
http://www.dawn.com/weekly/cowas/cowas.htm

Meantime 15 billion dollars have fled the country in the last couple of months, stock market has crashed after performing well during worst times in the last 8 years, chances are that we will be on IMF loan by the end of 2009….that will be reverting to the status of 1999. What a refreshing change this Nation has brought upon itself????

Here are the wonderful results of the long drive:

PBC APOLOGIZES

And Daily Times Says:

Aitzaz under fire over decision to ‘skip’ sit-in
RAWALPINDI: The members of Rawalpindi District Bar Association (RDBA) and Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA), Rawalpindi bench, on Monday split into pro and anti-Aitzaz Ahsan groups in a meeting, which discussed the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president’s abrupt announcement to end the lawyers’ long march on Islamabad without staging a sit-in in front of parliament on Saturday.

Former RDBA general secretary Intizar Mehdi that the lawyers had lost faith with Aitzaz Ahsan, who had damaged the lawyers’ movement for the judges’ reinstatement beyond repair by ending the long march inconclusively.

He said that the lawyers wouldn’t trust Aitzaz until he detached himself from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), which was not for the sacked judges’ reinstatement. He also asked Aitzaz to step down as the SCBA chief.

I stayed up very late on lahore night, trying to watch glimpse of my beloved city in the live coverage. Every place they showed was crowded, I could not recognize my city in long march coverage but the spirit of lahore was undeniable. There were same manchalay jawan, loitering men at the street corners, fearless guys standing right in middle of the road disregarding all the passing vehicles. In azadi chawk adrress of nawaz sharif there was a young guy all soaked up and feeling like a hero he would not let the camera cover the rally but stayed glued to the ground in front of the camera performing some filmi actions. The camera men seemed annoyed at him, but I was glad to see such things because these noosey guys keep lahore kicking. Please tell me was nawaz sharif addressing the rally at the back of central model school.
All through the march i feared a bomb blast but God be praised nothing of the sort happened and the march concluded in peace. I wish news channels will do more live coverage of lahore getting me a dose of lahore street life for me to live on.
