I for myself like traditional building because it suits our climate best. This cross construction only has extra power requirements. but this is their house i have no right to criticize their taste but given a choice i would build a high roofed thick walled house in line with our traditional architecture of muslim subcontinent. Most probably a peeli kothi among numerous peeli/safaid kothis of lahore. A wedding cake house.
