@AK Why bring Mush into this, if we have supported him when the radicals lanched their attack (lal Masjid), then he would have delivered. Instead we were disuaded by the propagandists and welcomed back known thieves and incompetant fools to lead us again.

What the zealots could not achieve in nine attempts our media did it in less than an year.

Until and unless we recognize the inherent violence in Islam (euphemistically called as jihad), there can never be peace
in Pakistan. Islam is a complete failure and sooner we
recognize it, the better.

As we all believe in Allah as Muslims, we are not afraid of such attacks

We say we believe in Allah, but we do nothing about those who misuse Allah's name and message (except, you know, post or comment in blogs). Who of us is willing to contradict or correct a khatib in a mosque? Where are our beliefs then? Is our fear of Allah weaker than our fear of what the neighbors will do to us if we take a stand?

but we must have high security in the city so such incident not happens.

Who should we depend on for security? Aren't the police, the civil service, the judiciary, the military, the politicians -- aren't they all but a reflection of general society?

Another attach due to lack of security in the city! we have not forgotten
attack of terrorist on SriLankan Team and their new statement was we will
come back to Pakistan to play cricket but such incident can raise issue of
security concerns for foreigners. As we all believe in Allah as Muslims,
we are not afraid of such attacks but we must have high security in the
city so such incident not happens. Though Pakistan is paying heavy price
in war against terrorism and USA and Terrorist make war ground Afghanistan
and Pakistan. The terrorism is now moving in Lahore city to disturb and
this all happening when Mr.Zardari is fighting on power struggle with
Mr.Nawaz. While Mr.Musharaf and others watching the happenings of their
blunders done to people of Pakistan.

Agreed on all counts and my views expressed in your previous post.

Only objection is the phrase “Proud Pakistani Muslims” cant there by ‘Proud Pakistani Non-Muslims”. Can’t we be just “Proud Pakistani’s”? What about the Christians, Hindus and Parsis etc that live among us? Can’t they be proud of their country and feel a sense of belonging towards it? Or should they all just immigrate?
