Winter actually means Siri Paye and Nihari, at least for a true Lahoree :) . I found Mohammadi Nihari the best, it is simply great, even it beats Phajjay Day Paye. In Defence, they got a decent place for families downstairs and just think about quickly served garam garam naaan and Nihari….waaaaaaah kia baat hay :))

Though Pakistan sustains its position as one of the largest producer of milk, all TetraPak brands keep crossing all milestones of abnormal inflation (Rs.45/litre), and here comes a relatively cheaper but somewhat equally good quality milk from Gourmet.

Rs.28 a litre is not a bad bet, ain’t it?

Watching a Jalebi wala as he makes patterns of sweet orange colored paste in sheera and oil is a delight in itself, unless, you witness the making of this paste :P

Look people, if you say that you HATE potatoes, I simply wont agree. No one in this world could hate this yummiest vege on the earth. Hot Spot’s Baked Chicken Sandwich was served with out-of-this-world mashed potatoes, which I wanna share with you guys. I rarely find this unique treatment that brings the best flavor with addition of freshly ground pepper and garlic.
