My friend messaged me in the morning that the weather is awesome and it has been raining strongly and her mood is so good that she asked her driver to put the car on a long route.

Definitely, that was the reason; why she came late to the university (even later than me who is notorious late comer).

But that was only in ‘Shaad Baagh’ and in its surroundings. Here, in my way to the university, I was expecting the clouds but there was nothing in the sky except a big hot red ball.

The whole day was humid in southern Lahore. It was not possible to stand under the sun for even 5 minutes. But the things got normal in the evening. Though there were no clouds and even the wind was not pleasant but it was still good.

I don’t know why but today, the sun attracted me a lot..

It was a wonderful sightseer and I felt really calm seeing the big red ‘dot’. There was silent and a relaxing environment.

All this made me to capture the scene in my camera.

I wanted to sit on an arm chair over there to see the beautiful sunset… but some desires just remain desires…

Pakistan has been lashed with heavy downpour, floods and storms across its coastal areas, Karachi, Makran, NWFP and parts of the Punjab for the last few days. Hundreds have lost their lives while thousands are stranded as a result of continous heavy downpour.

Two day-fulls of rain has left Lahore with a bit of pleasant weather, increased humidity and puddles of rain water all over its streets.

Justa wanna share side effects of yesterday’s rim jhim…

I want to post M.M. Alam Road’s condition for you guys, will do it someday :)

A few days back, when the sun was gazing up in the sky right above our heads at about 48°C, a small group was cherishing and beating the heat by having an open bath in the park.

I couldn’t resist myself to go there and share the joys of the open bath. (though, I didn’t get into it but it was enjoyable).

The most interesting part began when the children started fighting for the control of the hosepipe.

The fight was hilarious tom see… :-D

“dey mjhe…. nhi to meine joota maarna he…!”

The child in black shorts said it violently… :-D

That scene just can’t be explained in words. See the pic in zoomed view, and I m sure, you’ll enjoy.

But today’s rain really brought a change… and the parks, which looked deserted during noon, were full of noise and activity. Even I enjoyed myself in the rain.

Lahore is under attack of gray clouds right now …welcome Sawan.

These are two shots that I took while passing through Liberty Market last year in July.

It had just stopped raining as the sun set and I was lucky to catch it before dark…

Looked like as if there was a huge fire miles away and the clouds seemed to be the smoke

I wish if we were able to witness it all again this year!
