Defence , Hospitals and Lahore
Yesterday while driving along the main defence road I was amazed to notice that the single road has no less then 3 yes I repeat 3 hospitals!!!!!!!!!!!!This in a country which claims to have limited resources is nothing less then stupendously amazing.
I was even more horrified to find out that 2 of the hospitals had no doctors on duty if you are unfortunate enough to go in the early afternoon (noon/1pm)…..and the remaining one which did had doctors who were fresh graduates who would probably look to the patients for guidance rather then otherwise.I wonder what the point is other then of course the commercialisation of medicine.Any other such “saturations of hospitals” in other parts of Lahore or is it just Defence which is thus honored?
laoore tey faer lahore ayee !
what i find even more disturbing, is that lahori’s whether they like it or not, have only one form of criticism, rant, objection, opinion, viewpoint, and incapacitated to critique in any other form aside from the phrase “laoore tey faer lahore ayee !”
LOL thts not confined to JUST lahoris thats a trait shared by all homosapiens an ingrained fact. The post was about the commercialisation of medical facilities in an area I noticed and I just wanted to know what others thought.
Bein a part of the medical profession myself I am entitled to rant and rave about it :D
