Lahore in Orange county? Pardon me dude!

Pardon my knowledge of Lahore but if you think you know enough, excuse me! I don’t want to hurt your ego but there’s a community in Virginia, USA with the name spelled exactly as our very own city. L-A-H-O-R-E. Sit tight. ‘It might have been named after Lahore we know in Pakistan’ suggests the link I stumbled upon while searching for some maps of Lahore. Next time you go out with your peers, don’t pretend to be oracle of all knowledge! Or atleast don’t stumble around the web afterwards; the web has a tendency to burst the bubbles!

I think it’s a tribute to our great city of Lahore in Pakistan. Americans have a tendency to name their towns after their ancestoral hometowns. Examples include Delhi, NY; Medina, NY; Bethlehem, PA and many more.

And OPEE there is an Orange County in most states in the USA. Like the Orange County in the state of New York and Virginia (where Lahore is located).
