Damn you Afridi!!

Shahid Afridi has been banned for one Test match (that is Lahore test match) and two one-day internationals for deliberately damaging the pitch on the second day of the second Test. Trying to do hanky panky when you know the whole world is watching and there is no way you can get away with something like that. Why in the world he did it? What a dumb thing to do after such a great day of cricket.

I am a big football fan and often I see players elbowing each other during the match and getting red cards. What makes them do things like that when every modern game these days have cameras recording every single thing done on the pitch… or is it just a spontaneous thing.. rush of blood…OR just a silly thing that sometimes we all do :) .

Damn you Afridi, we are going to miss you in Lahore :(

I am sorry to see that the only thing you people have mentio ned is Afridi scruffing up the pitch, how about Ian Bell’s vatch of Md. Yousaf? He was equally dishonest and should have been punished just as severely as Afridi, if not worse. Not to mention the entirely ungentlemanly manner in which Inzamam-ul-Haq was ‘run-out’ by the English. We sit around with our colonized mentalities paying our salaams to the goras while they walk all over us.

Well we all do rights & wrongs, rights are prasis and wrongs are dealt strictly, such has happen with Afridi. In my opinion he should have been banned for atleast 10 Matches and for rest of his carrier 12th man only. The world righty say us Cheeters just because of onr GOOF. I feel ashamed what Afridi has done.

I agree with Sabahat, that the goras always go unpunished for whatever they do. Its we from the subcontinent always getting the maximum punishment.
Even if a Gora gets punished the punishment is always minimum.Even if it was about match fixing its all about the racism. If a Azhar or Salim Malik is implicated they are assumed to be the root of all evil. But if a Hansie Cronje is implicated, he is supposed to be a victim!!!! Strange are the ways of racism!!!

Oh please guys, give the man a lill break and room. It surely wasn’t a dumb move I say – Everyone needs a time out for a match or two. Afridi is such a coool player that he always ends up playing well! ahh.. wow what a player!!!!! what else he could do than deliberately showing the world that he’s doing something unsolicited. ~*~an easy way out~*~ At least he successfully got some time off the busy schedule. heheehe .. ok ok .. me cutting the crap! enough of the invalid reasoning :)

But I’m sure – once he’s back, he is surely get the hell outta englishmen!! insha’Allah. :)

I agree with Sabahat. And darwaish let the things rolling, u’re a pakistani remember? :P~~~

back in the day when i was a silly teenager, the women in karachi gave afridi way too big an ego boost for him to ever hear praise and go tain tain fish again.

i love how even the men admit he’s the most fun player to watch. :)

We don’t call him best, we don’t call him superb. But no doubt – he is different, eye catching and one of a kind stubborn fella that we like (to watch him play)! :)

I guess Afridi’s most horrendous adrenaline-pumping slogging becomes a norm if you ever played tennis-ball cricket!
