the quake last night

rightaway, it felt like it was less major than the last one. I heard the windows shaking, but it could’ve been the wind rattling them (I’ve got used to hearing windows rattle because of living near the sea for ages in karachi, so its not alarming anymore…) but when I got out of bed to put a finger to the floor, the floor seemed to be stable. It was really late at night, I was sleepy, so I went back to sleep. My friend msged me around 4 am to tell me that it’d been on the news, asking me if I’d felt it. I don’t know of news of any damages yet.
On a related note, I did see the first book about the major quake last night, a pictoral review, published by an ngo i think. will get back on this.

you can read more about it on geo news

I have been very busy lately and I slept last nite at 9pm after staying up for 2 days. Naturally I slept like a baby and I dind’t come to know about the quake until this morning’s newspaper. Its really sorry to know about it. I do hope everyone around us and our families are all right!

Maleeha: Do share your views about the quakes published by NGO. Thanks :)
