gunsmoke’s tv screens

I hadn’t been to Gunsmoke in a while…and when we ended up there last night, I got a really great surprise: they now have small tv screens inside the walls next to each table! Much like tv screens at the back of plane seats! They had a bonjovi concert playing when we went, and we could see the entire concert sitting at our table. I loved it! It’s such a novel idea, atleast for me, and it’s the perfect conversation piece! Moreover, FINALLY a restaurant’s realised that it’s nice to see on tv what’s blaring through the speakers…had quite enough of watching football matches in restaurant silently while some weird popmusic proceeded to completely destroy both visual and aural concentration…

i must go see, i’m sick of how UN-western the music’s got at gunsmoke..totally kills the ole western tavern mood of the place, but if i get mad at the person(s) i’m there with, i can ignore them and watch the tv instead! ;)

    lol mina :P
