Bioforum at Punjab University

The Lahore Bioforum was held at the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), Punjab University, according to a press release on Tuesday.

Several laboratories of the country displayed the results of their research in form of products and process. Agricultural products generated through tissue culture such as virus free potatoes, fungus and virus free gladiolus and sugarcane took people’s attention. The CEMB also displayed diagnostic kits and pharmaceutical products. Twenty-eight laboratories from universities and R&D organisations and 35 suppliers of the biotechnology equipments and services presented their exhibits. staff report
