The highly publicised event is being organized under the umbrella of Chief Minister’s Task Force on Lahore. In addition to the controversy that it brings along for being a mix-gender marathon, citizens must prepare themselves for closed routes and blocked roads on the designated day.

on a separate note, the map on marathon website is “kinda” detailed, probably one of the only map that i’ve seen so far of lahore that can be qualified as a map.

anybody aware of any website for lahore’s street map, or is there any company/organization working on it?

I remember once i got a map of lahore from tourist office at lahore airport (first i was surprised that there’s a tourist office!!!) anyway, the map was a joke, not even good for a native lahori. :-)

Even in this pic you can see very few desis … I wonder when would we be actually winning the medals – Olympics is a big event let’s pray for asian olympics first …!

Hameed, years ago when I was in college I bought a map from one of the bookshops on Mall. It was as good as can be and quite professionally done. Check out in some of the better bookshops if any are still left.
