Mailbox right off Mozang Road

Does this transport you back?

I took this picture while visiting the residential area near Ganga Ram Hospital in January, and could not help but feel like there were bits of old Lahore still in tact there. Now what I mean by ‘Old’ is ofcourse is relative, so perhaps pre-urbanization of Lahore, whenever that happened. It was more than likely a process that took years. Turn your car in one of these roads and it will seem like those billboards hawking phonecards and milk never graced the horizon.

To answer my own question, ‘ Yes, It does’.

The letter boxes fascinate me a lot, the old ones specially.

After this email communication etc., i stopped writting letters. Thats a bad thing. My fingers now almost forgot how to write :(

I miss writting letters. And yes, they do work.

I know what you mean…I send the occasional letter now and barely recieve one except for bills!!
Perhaps we should all try to revive letter-writing, classic style, How about it? :)

Vaqas: Think so? Appreciate the comment!
