Feeling Lahore?

Adoring your city could be this important….. I am here now, representing Lahore :)

Lahore’s culture is so rich as it had been ruled by emperors from different parts of the world, who brought about changes adding to its glory one by one. Its a great experiance to live in a city like this. Its a heavenly feeling to be a part of this city :) ………( i know i sound fanatic but its true).

Have you ever tried to feel Lahore? Did you share Lahore with foreigners or guests like a guide and what questions about Lahore you were asked, that you did not know?

Over the last few years, whenever i am outside Lahore (which i usually am), i come across people who talk about various aspects of Lahore with surprising admiration. Lahore’s Basant, its food, its greenery, architecture, even weather, gardens, hospitality, culture, style, fashion, universities… the list seems to go on…

at the end of the day, it sounds prudent to say Lahore Lahore Aye…:)

@Faraz: You are absolutely right. I experianced moving from another city to Lahore and i still remember as an outsider, how we kids used to THINK about Lahore, imagine its grandeour, loving & caring walled city residents specially, travelling by rikshaw and tangaws, nahar, border, PU, art galleries, Basant, Alhamra, Paayee ;}, lussi tay khalis dhoodh day waday glass, even 24 hour availability of delecious food and bundles of opportunities, the attractive way of buying goods in walled city through baskets hanged via ropes, and …peetal kay dhodh kay matkay :) great.

And now people ask same questions about Lahore and i tell them proudly about this city…..akhir Lahore Lahore hai :)

So its totally captivating, so liveley and so welcoming. Lahore has its own unique flavor.
