Masjid of the Laal variety

All in the name of Islam, that is what makes this whole episode pathetic.

Latest updates are at Isloo metblogs and on geo news special section on Lal Masjid.

Actual story:
A person from America is here in Lahore for a visit. His friend from America called him up to ask if he is doing OK, given the ‘operation’ at Lal Masjid. The Lahori person told his concerned American friend that the operation is in a different city – Islamabad – and I am in Lahore, so no need to worry.
His American friend genuinely asked that if the situation of extremism is so bad in the capital, then it must be worse in Lahore.

Welcome to the new face of ourselves, friends. What are we going to do about it?

Yes, you are right! I am genuinely sick of these extremists.

Let us form an Alliance of Moderate Peace Loving Modern Pakistani’s and rebel against such forces vocally and by force if they don’t listen to us and perhaps even kidnap a few of them to get the recognition and attention we need !

After all our creation was a result of the inability of the society or the govt. to listen to our concerns …henceforth now we as the Alliance of Moderate Peace Loving Modern Pakistani’s should take matters into our own hands.

Don’t forget the ‘Enlightened’ part. Moderation without Enlightenment is no good.

even muslim doctors can not be trusted.

Every muslim in west has a hatred for non muslims.
All due to Quran where it is explicitly mentioned that kaafirs are worthy of being hated. Of course despite this many muslims are decent human beings and that is despite being muslims. I find it amusing that while good muslims give credit to islam/quran for them being good, bad muslims do not represent islam/quran. All a matter of convenience I guess.

Don’t get provoked by this. Do a little introspection.

Gov. is not ready to have any dialogue with Rasheed Ghazi now. 50-60 students with automatic weapons, hand granades etc., still there and not letting others to surrender as Mr. Sher-Pao said in conference. Ghazi also holding some kids and women with him inside wherever he is hiding and maybe he want to use them on as needed basis.
